— We at Otto Musica are dedicated to orchestral string products. —

We design, create and distribute our proprietary products under our own independently developed brands, including “Artino”, “OTTO” and “MUCO”.  Otto Musica also represents and distributes several prestigious brands of the stringed instruments and accessories in our home markets in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China.

Founded in 1974 in Taipei, Taiwan, we at Otto Musica started our journey as a piano parts importer from Europe, the US, and Japan, eventually designing and creating our own homegrown piano models.  With more conservatory trained musicians and an increasingly sophisticated classical music audience in Taiwan, we saw appreciation for orchestral instruments and accessories grow in leaps and bounds over the decades since.  Our company gradually and organically transformed our business focus towards an array of offerings in orchestral string instruments and accessories to the Taiwan market.  In the early 1990s, Otto Musica established itself as one of the leading orchestral string instrument and accessory importers in Taiwan and fostered rewarding collaborations with classical music communities in Taiwan and several prestigious orchestral string product brands in Europe and the US. 

In the mid-1990s, Otto Musica launched its proprietary products research & development initiatives and unveiled its first product, the Artino Comfort Model Shoulder Rest.  We at Otto Musica have continued in our commitment to investing in product development and have over the years established an extensive array of product lines, from accessories to instruments, tailored for beginners, enthusiasts to professionals and masters.  We have also extended our journey across the globe and expanded our footprints to the US, Germany, and Mainland China in order to offer best-in-class service and highest quality products to classical music lovers around the world.

As a family-run business for close to half a century, our focus isn’t simply profit, but sharing our “Melody of Life” through an endless “Symphony of Love” by never ceasing to strive to contribute to classical music communities around the world wherever we find them.
